Meet Megan Mahoney

Megan Mahoney has recently stepped up to serve our Kids Ministry by coordinating the Kids Zone. Megan is a middle school teacher who grew up as the oldest of seven siblings. She started volunteering in children's ministry at CCV at the age of twelve to help her newly-adopted little brother feel safe and secure, and she's been in children's ministry ever since, volunteering with children from the age of two to 6th grade, culminating in over ten years of experience in children's ministry. Additionally, she's in her fifth year of teaching at a local charter school and has a bachelors and masters in education. Her love for children and passion for making a place where they feel welcomed and comfortable lies at the heart of her ministry, and she's excited to be making an impact on the families in this community. She asks for your patience, support, and encouragement in this time of transition, and she thanks everyone who has made her feel welcomed in the last year that she's been attending St. John's
